• Scheduled clinical hours plus call -- beeper call, 20 min response time
• 10 - 12 patients per shift
• Call ratio: 10 - 14
• Serves adult, pediatric, and neonate CV surgical patients
• Only hospital serving a catchment area of approximately 500,000 patients
• Required: vascular surgery, aneurysm repair, arterial bypass, AV shunt
• Preferred: general, laparoscopic, OB/GYN, and head/neck surgery skills
• Possible clinic coverage -- less than 10 hours per week
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
