Job summary

CompHealth in Modesto, CA is seeking anesthesiologists for OB and OR coverage with in-house call shifts weekdays and weekends. The role involves general and regional anesthesia, OB epidurals and spinal anesthesia, and requires pediatric anesthesia experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in OB anesthesia required.
• Proficiency in general and regional anesthesia.
• Experience with OB epidurals and spinal anesthesia.
• Healthy pediatric anesthesia experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB and OR in-house call shifts on weekdays and weekends.
• Perform general and regional anesthesia for a range of cases including ortho, vascular, thoracic, robotics, ENT, gyn, urology.
• Ensure 8-hour rest after 24-hour shift.
• Contribute to credentialing and privileging processes.
• Maintain comprehensive malpractice coverage and coordinate housing/travel logistics.

• OB and OR in-house call shifts available -- weekdays and weekends
• Weekday call: 3 pm - 7 am; weekend call: 7 am - 7 am
• Standard shifts: 7 am - 5 pm, 7 am - 7 pm, or 3 pm - 11 pm
• 8-hour mandatory rest required after 24-hour shift
• General anesthesia and regional anesthesia required
• OB coverage required -- epidurals and spinals for OB cases
• Cases include ortho, vascular, thoracic, robotics, ENT, gyn, urology
• Healthy pediatric anesthesia experience required
