Job summary

CompHealth is seeking anesthesia professionals for locum tenens assignments in Bangor, ME and nationwide. The role includes in-house Monday–Friday coverage with weekend call options, and case mix across spinal, epidural, regional, OB, ultrasound, and arterial line tasks. You will supervise CRNAs and support flexible scheduling.

This national network offers housing and travel arrangements, comprehensive malpractice coverage, and streamlined credentialing to help you secure assignments quickly.

Qualifications

• Experience with spinal, epidural, regional and ultrasound-guided anesthesia.
• Ability to supervise CRNA operations and manage OB anesthesia.
• Willingness to work weekend call and in-house shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia coverage for locums assignments across multiple specialties.
• Coordinate with facilities on credentialing and privileging processes.

• Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5 pm; weekend 12-hour in-house call option
• Average of 90 cases per day across all specialties
• 85% adult, 10% peds, 5% trauma case mix
• Required: spinal, epidural, regional, OB, ultrasound, arterial line, CRNA supervision
• Preferred: neuro head and spine, complex vascular, central line placement, vent mgmt
