Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a physician to provide locum tenens coverage across three clinic sites in Louisiana. The clinician will greet and examine up to 18 patients daily with 20-minute slots, handle sick and well visits, and participate in hospital and newborn rounds during call.

A long-term commitment of 6–12 months is preferred. Required credentials include NRP, PALS, and BLS, along with hospital privileges.

Qualifications

• NRP, PALS, and BLS certifications required.
• Hospital privileges required.
• Long-term commitment preferred — 6 to 12 month engagement.

Responsibilities

• Cover 3 clinic sites with float coverage across multiple locations.
• See up to 18 patients per day with 20-minute appointment slots.
• Participate in call rotations including deliveries and newborn rounds.
