Job summary

Leoforce Health seeks an OB/GYN for immediate on-site coverage in Virginia. The role involves 24-hour call coverage for Labor and Delivery and the Emergency Department, with the provider as the second call behind the midwife.

Travel calls from a hotel are about 2 miles from the hospital, with support from a pediatrician and in-house anesthesia. The facility is a 100-bed acute care hospital with a renovated clinic, on-site ultrasound and lab, and periodic UVA MFM consultations.

Qualifications

• General OB/GYN experience required.
• Emergency call coverage experience preferred.
• Ability to operate in a low-volume hospital with ER backup.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for L&D and ED.
• Be the second call behind the Midwife.
• Coordinate care with in-house anesthesia and pediatrician for births.

Skills Required: General OB/GYN cases. No circumcisions or scheduled cases. Low Volume hospital with ER Backup

Facility Details: 100 bed acute care facility. Newly renovated, spacious clinic within house ultrasound and lab. Remote and 2x monthly on-site consultation with University of Virginia (UVA) MFM Service. daVinci® Surgical System access and Level II NICU with neonatal transport team (1-hour drive)

Credentialing Timeframe: Emergency privileges available
