Job summary

Curative seeks a Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in Palmer, Alaska for Emergency Privileges with 24-hour call coverage. Provide Labor and Delivery and hospital-based OB/GYN care in an inpatient setting with five-day emergency privileges to start quickly.

Inpatient obstetrics coverage includes ED OB/GYN care, ~800 deliveries/year, and full hospital support. Travel airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided; dates for coverage include July 21–28, August 17–20, September

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required with OB/GYN board eligibility.
• Active Alaska medical license required.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Labor and Delivery and hospital-based OB/GYN coverage.
• Attend 24-hour call shifts with 30-minute response time.
• Deliver inpatient obstetric care and ED OB/GYN coverage.
• Manage approximately 800 deliveries annually.
