Weatherby Healthcare is seeking qualified physicians for locum tenens assignments in California. Expect fast response with beeper calls, phone consults, and on-site patient care across inpatient settings.

Responsibilities include OB deliveries, C-sections, ultrasound interpretation, and minor GYN procedures. Travel, housing, and malpractice coverage are provided to support seamless assignments. Weatherby offers dedicated consultants and a nationwide network to streamline placement.

Qualifications

• Beeper call with 30-minute response requirement.
• Inpatient and on-call responsibilities.
• Obstetric care including C-sections, VBACs, breech deliveries.
• OB ultrasound performance and interpretation required.
• Minor GYN procedures such as IUD, colposcopy, cryosurgery.
• Low forceps delivery and laceration repair skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Avg 2 phone consults per shift.
• Avg 2 patients seen and 1 admission per 24 hours.
• Total call ratio 1:1 with 100% callback.
