Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking experienced OB/GYN locum-tenens physicians to cover in-house 12-hour night shifts with some days available in California. The position includes deliveries, C-sections, and GYN emergencies, with competitive hourly compensation and travel support.

As a charter member of NALTO, Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and ongoing consultant support through the assignment.

Qualifications

• Experience in obstetric deliveries and C-sections.
• Proficient handling of GYN emergencies.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Cover in-house OB laborist, OB ED, and flex OB shifts.
• Manage 12-hour shifts with nights and some days.
• Deliveries, C-sections, and GYN emergencies as part of coverage.
• Document patient encounters and coordinate with hospital staff.
