Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is partnering with a central Massachusetts hospital to offer a locum tenens Neurosurgeon opportunity. Coverage spans ER, inpatient, and possibly outpatient settings with 12- or 24-hour shifts and required call.

Neurointerventional procedures are expected, using available neurointerventional equipment and Epic EMR for documentation. Board-certified neurosurgeons with CSR and DEA clearance are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Board-certified neurosurgeon with valid license.
• CSR and DEA registration required.
• Experience with neurointerventional procedures.
• Proficient with Epic EMR.
• Ability to cover 12- or 24-hour shifts and related call.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens coverage in ER, inpatient, and possibly outpatient settings.
• Perform neurointerventional procedures (stroke care, catheter-directed therapy).
• Collaborate with NeuroIR APPs and hospital staff.
