Optigy Group in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Neurointerventionalist for urgent locum tenens coverage with an immediate start. Emergency privileges may be available within 7–14 days, and the role includes 10–13 shifts per month of 12- or 24-hour duration with call.

Eligible providers include neurosurgeons and neurologists with neurointerventional training. Massachusetts license and fellowship required; local preferred, travelers welcome.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts license required.

• Open to neurosurgeons/neurologists with relevant training.

Responsabilités

• Perform neurointerventional stroke procedures and catheter-directed therapies.
• Conduct diagnostic cerebral angiograms and aneurysm treatment.
• Provide emergency and inpatient coverage with call.
• Work with NeuroIR APP support and Epic EMR.

Position Overview

An immediate opportunity is available for experienced Neurointerventionalists to provide emergency and inpatient coverage. Neurosurgeons and Neurologists with the appropriate neurointerventional training and procedural skill set will also be considered.

Emergency privileges may be available within 7-14 days, allowing qualified providers to get started quickly.

Schedule & Coverage

• 10-13 shifts per month

• 12-hour or 24-hour shifts

• Call coverage required

• Emergency, inpatient, and potential outpatient responsibilities

• Local providers preferred; travelers welcome

Clinical Responsibilities & Procedures

• Neurointerventional stroke procedures

• Catheter-directed therapies

• Diagnostic cerebral angiograms

• Aneurysm treatment

• Vasospasm treatment

• Additional neurointerventional procedures as needed

Clinical Environment

• Approximately 180 strokes treated annually

• Estimated 1-2 inpatient add-on cases per day

• Dedicated NeuroIR APP support staff

• Full neurointerventional equipment available

• Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts medical license required

• Neurointerventional Fellowship required

• Neurosurgeons and Neurologists considered with the appropriate neurointerventional training and procedural skill set

• Must be willing to obtain Massachusetts CSR and DEA

Immediate availability preferred. Local providers strongly encouraged to apply, but traveling providers will also be considered.
