Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a skilled physician to join our nephrology/interventional team in a high-volume setting. The role involves vascular access procedures, fistulagrams, angioplasty and catheter placement, with a mix of outpatient visits and hospital rounding.

Schedule is typical hospital hours, with on-call duties every fourth week. Housing and travel are arranged, and compensation is discussed as all-inclusive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience with vascular access procedures and interventional nephrology.
• Ability to perform fistulagrams, angioplasty and catheter placement.
• Comfort working in an outpatient surgery center setting.

Responsibilities

• Mon–Fri, 8 am–5 pm with on-call every 4th week.
• Perform 6–12 vascular access procedures per day.
• Handle 30 outpatient visits per day plus hospital rounding.
• Manage hospital census of 15–25 patients when on call.
• Provide care in an outpatient surgery center setting.
• Call is mostly phone-managed with light burden.
• Work as interventional nephrologist with 70/30 split.
• Coordinate fistulagrams, angioplasty and catheter placements.
