Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks an experienced Neonatologist for locum tenens coverage in Worcester, MA. The assignment runs ASAP through March 1, 2027, with 7a-5p clinic hours and night/weekend on-call.

Billing and privileges can be arranged with temporary privileges provided by the agency. The role includes inpatient and outpatient care, ventilator management, intubation, central lines, and collaboration with NPs to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Pediatrics or Neonatology.
• Licensed to practice medicine in MA.
• PALS certification required.
• Fellowship in neonatology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic coverage for pediatric patients during scheduled hours (7a-5p).
• Manage inpatient neonatal and pediatric care, including ventilator management, intubation, and central line placement.
• Provide night call coverage for pediatric emergencies and admissions.
• Perform 24-hour onsite coverage as needed, handling all pediatric cases.
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
