Job summary

MDSTAFF is seeking a Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist to cover a dynamic IR service near Phoenix, AZ. The role includes day shifts on campus, with home call after hours and weekend coverage to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

The candidate will perform a broad range of IR procedures, participate in scheduling and emergencies, and collaborate with the hospital team to maintain high-quality service. Arizona license, ACLS, DEA, and IR board eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Radiology is required.
• Arizona medical license active is required.
• ACLS certification and a DEA license are mandatory.
• Experience with non-neuro IR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide consult and perform broad range of IR procedures including venous access, biopsies, trauma, DVT/PE, and TIPS.
• Manage scheduled and emergency cases and night/weekend call.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and hospital team.
