The position requires board certification in cardiology, interventional experience, and Illinois license readiness. Compensated on an hourly basis with travel and practice support provided by Aya Locums.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in internal medicine with ACGME or AOA accreditation.
• Fellowship in cardiology with interventional training.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and catheterizations.
• Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of cardiovascular patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Address acute cardiovascular emergencies and complications.
• Maintain detailed medical records.
