Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking qualified physicians for locum tenens coverage. The assignments include 16-hour in-house call shifts with a call ratio of 1:5, offering cath lab and inpatient hospital coverage. Expect PTCA, stents, caths, and STEMI call coverage, plus inpatient consults and rounding with echo, stress, and EKG.

Nuclear and TEE experience is a plus but not required. Assignments include ongoing coverage potential, paid malpractice insurance, and pre-paid travel and housing expenses.

Qualifications

• Physician must provide cath lab coverage including PTCA, stents, and STEMI calls.
• Inpatient consults and rounding including echo, stress, and EKG.
• Nuclear and TEE experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• 16-hour in-house call shifts.
• Avg 20 phone consults per 24-hour call period.
