Job summary

Aya Locums is seeking a locum Interventional Cardiology physician for an assignment in North Charleston, SC. The position offers a 24-hour on-call schedule, standard 5 days with 24-hour shifts, and a 13-week engagement starting 12-01-26.

Compensation is $3,000–$3,200 per day with travel and housing support through Aya Locums. Candidates should be board-certified in cardiology with interventional training, eligible for SC license, and experienced in urgent cardiovascular care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ABIM or AOA board certification in cardiology; interventional subspecialty.
• Active SC medical license.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty, stenting and catheterizations.
• Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of cardiovascular patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain detailed medical records.
