Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a cardiology physician for locum tenens coverage. The assignment involves inpatient rounds, on-call duties, and procedures including PTCA/Stents/CATHS, Echo, stress tests, and EKGs.

ACLS certification is required; nuclear and TEE skills are a major plus. Travel and housing may be prepaid, with paid malpractice and 24/7 consultant support.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• Inpatient cardiology experience.
• Ability to perform PTCA/Stents/CATHS.
• Echo, stress and EKG procedures required.
• Nuclear and TEE skills are a major plus.

Responsibilities

• 24-hour call coverage on assigned days.
• 5–10 patients per day on rounds with 1–3 procedures.
• Inpatient rounding and consults with lab coverage.
• PTCA/Stents/CATHS and general inpatient cardiology required.
• Echo, stress, EKG procedures required.
• Nuclear and TEE skills are a major plus.
• Coverage for weekdays, weekends and vacations.
