Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a locum cardiology physician to cover inpatient rounds in Milwaukee, WI. The assignment involves 24-hour call coverage on assigned days with 5–10 patients per day and 1–3 procedures per round.

The role requires ACLS certification and proficiency in PTCA/stents/caths, as well as Echo, stress, EKG; Nuclear and TEE skills are a major plus. Weekday, weekend and vacation coverage is requested; travel and housing are provided.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• Inpatient rounding and consults with lab coverage.
• PTCA/Stents/Caths in inpatient cardiology.
• Echo, stress, and EKG procedures required.
• Nuclear imaging and TEE skills are major plus.
• Coverage for weekdays, weekends and vacations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage on assigned days.
• Manage 5–10 patients per day on rounds with 1–3 procedures.
• Inpatient rounding and consults with lab coverage.
• Perform PTCA/Stents/Caths as part of inpatient cardiology.
• Execute Echo, Stress and EKG procedures as required.
