Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks a Gastroenterologist for 24-hour call coverage in Washington, MO for inpatient services. You will manage inpatients, perform upper and lower GI endoscopy, and support a vacancy-driven long-term assignment with 3 shifts per week on average.

Eligible candidates are Board Certified in Gastroenterology with MO or IMLC license, and hold BLS, ACLS and ATLS. Temporary privileges are available; travel and malpractice coverage provided by the vendor.

Qualifications

• BC in Gastroenterology is required.
• Licensed in MO or IMLC.
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for inpatient gastroenterology consults.
• Manage assigned inpatients, including rounding and admissions.
• Perform upper GI endoscopy procedures (including biopsy, foreign body removal, etc.) as needed.
• Perform lower GI endoscopy procedures.
