LocumTenens.com seeks a licensed psychiatrist for an on-site, full-time inpatient forensic unit in Illinois. The clinician will provide 40 hours per week of day-shift coverage, with a caseload of about 25 adult patients and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Duties include medication management, orders, treatment planning, restraint debriefs, and social work consults. Board certification is negotiable.

Formación

• MD or DO with medical license in IL
• Psychiatry board certification or eligibility is acceptable per facility needs

Responsabilidades

• Medication management for adult psychiatric inpatients
• Prepare and process orders; develop treatment plans
• Conduct restraint debriefs as required
• Consult with social workers for patient care coordination
• Manage a caseload of ~25 adults on a dedicated forensic unit
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; no NP supervision required
