Job summary

ECU Health Physicians in Greenville, NC is seeking a Hematopathologist for locum tenens coverage. Board certification in Hematopathology is required; MD or DO degree expected. Responsibilities include in- and out-patient hematopathology duties with block coverage starting November 2026.

Shifts are Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with night and weekend call; coverage blocks are 1 week at a time. Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center are available.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Hematopathology required.
• MD or DO degree required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood smears, body fluids, and hematopathology case sign-out.
• Interpret flow cytometry and report results.
• Evaluate bone marrow specimens and lymph node pathology.
• Support inpatient and outpatient hematopathology services.
