Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hematology Pathology Physician for locum tenens support in Greenville, NC. Start date ASAP with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and EPIC as the EMR. The role involves inpatient/outpatient duties and complex hematopathology sign-out.

The candidate must be board-certified in pathology with hematopathology fellowship and obtain North Carolina licensure; credentialing is expected within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Pathology with completed residency in pathology and a hematopathology fellowship.
• Inpatient and outpatient practice setting experience preferred.
• Experience with hematopathology sign-out is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities including blood smears, body fluids, bone marrow, lymph node, extranodal lymphoma and flow cytometry sign-out.
• Work with EPIC EMR for charting and reporting.
• Credentialing within approximately 30 days; NC licensure required.
