Job summary

Aya Locums seeks a Hematology/Oncology physician in Spokane, WA for a 13-week locum position starting 01 September 2026. The role features standard 9-hour shifts, no-call, with competitive hourly pay and travel support through Aya Locums.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating blood disorders and cancers, coordinating with the healthcare team, and educating patients about treatment options. WA license active is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in internal medicine with ACGME or AOA accreditation.
• Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with blood disorders and cancers, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and manage side effects.
• Coordinate care with other specialists and consult on complex cases.
