Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a general surgery specialist to provide vacation coverage in Minnesota. The assignment includes both outpatient and inpatient work with 4 surgery suites and 1 Endo suite on site. On-call calls are low volume on weekends; ATLS and ACLS are required; upper and lower scope procedures are expected; no GI on staff.

Paid malpractice insurance and prepaid travel/housing are provided. Minimum 1 year post-residency experience is required; competitive compensation applies with

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year post-residency experience
• ATLS and ACLS required
• Both outpatient and inpatient coverage
• Upper and lower scope procedures required

Responsibilities

• Provide general surgery coverage in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Perform upper and lower scope procedures
• Support vacation coverage and on-call periods
• Assist with endoscopy-related cases as needed
