CompHealth is seeking a locums physician to join their nationwide network for assignments at two hospital facilities, including weekend on-call coverage Friday 7 am to Monday 7 am. Bread-and-butter surgery with upper and lower endos is common, with robust housing, travel, and malpractice coverage arranged.

The role involves inpatient rounds, daily surgical volume of 4–5 cases, and 8–10 consults. A recruiter handles credentialing, time entry, and logistics for a smooth assignment.

Qualifications

• Experience in surgical procedures and postoperative care.
• Willingness to perform bread-and-butter surgery with upper and lower endos.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum coverage at two hospital facilities, primary in-person and on-call.
• Manage weekend call with 1 weekend per month schedule.
• Support inpatient rounding and consultation volumes daily.
• Coordinate credentialing and privileging through CompHealth recruiter.
