Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens coverage in the Phoenix area. Shifts include weekday, weekend, and 24-hour on-call coverage with typical 10-hour blocks in outpatient clinics, operating rooms, or endoscopy suites.

The candidate should be board certified or eligible, with ACLS and BLS, and hold an active unrestricted medical license. Credentialing typically takes 45–60 days; RPMS is the EMR in use.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Active unrestricted medical license in any state

Responsibilities

• Provide General Surgery care in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Support outpatient clinic, operating room, and endoscopy coverage
• Handle 24-hour call and weekend shifts as needed
• Experience with breast surgery procedures is preferred
