Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support in Phoenix, AZ. Start ASAP with a mix of outpatient clinic, OR, and endoscopy coverage and on-call requirements. Typical 10-hour shifts with weekday, weekend, and 24-hour call as needed.

Credentialing takes 45–60 days; you must be Board Certified/Eligible with ACLS and BLS, and hold an active unrestricted state license. RPMS EMR familiarity is a plus in this inpatient/outpatient mix.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Active unrestricted state medical license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general surgery services in outpatient, OR, and endoscopy settings.
• Cover variable weekday shifts, some weekend/on-call duties.
• Support both inpatient and outpatient cases with Breast Surgery experience.
