Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a physician for 48-hour shifts in Alabama, covering inpatient consults and ER duties. Expect about 20 patient encounters per shift and roughly 10 phone consults in 24 hours. ACLS is required; ATLS experience is a plus.

Travel and housing expenses are prepaid, with malpractice coverage provided. This is a Weatherby assignment with 24/7 consultant support and NALTO charter membership. Participation focuses on adult patients with pediatric cases preferred.

Qualifications

• Adult population focus; pediatric population preferred
• Chest tubes, central lines, and chest wall procedures required
• ACLS required; ATLS experience a plus
• Inpatient consults and ER coverage

Responsibilities

• Inpatient consults and emergency room coverage
• 20 patients per shift; avg 10 phone consults per 24 hours
• 48-hour shift -- Friday to Saturday, 7am start
• Scopes not required
