Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens surgeon to support multiple facilities in New Mexico. You will cover 12-hour and 24-hour shifts with 8–20 patients per shift and 3–5 admissions per 24 hours, across three hospitals with EGS call coverage. Required: laparoscopic surgery, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty.

Preferred: chest tube insertion and vascular procedures. The assignment includes paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing, with ongoing Weatherby

• EGS call coverage across three hospitals; 12H/24H shifts; high patient volume.

Responsibilities

• Handle 8–20 patients per shift and 3–5 admissions per 24 hours.
• Participate in system-wide EGS call coverage.
