Medicus Healthcare Solutions, LLC is partnering with a northern California hospital to fill a General Surgeon locum tenens role. The assignment requires board certification or eligibility, with 24-hour call coverage from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.

and an emphasis on emergent cases. Expect patient rounding duties and travel support through Medicus. Travel and lodging are arranged by our dedicated travel team, with comprehensive malpractice coverage and licensing/credentialing assistance provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible General Surgeon.
• Must be able to work 24-hour call shifts (7a–7a).
• Emergent cases only; scheduling reflects high-acuity coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens coverage as General Surgeon.
• Round on patients in the hospital setting.
• Respond to emergent cases as needed.
