Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens assignment in Topeka, Kansas. The position covers both inpatient and outpatient GI services, with an 8am-5pm clinic schedule and weeknight/weekend inpatient call.

Competitive travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage are provided. Active Kansas medical license, DEA, ACLS/BLS/PALS/ATLS, and board eligibility or board certification are required; Epic is the EMR and endoscopy suite is available.

Qualifications

• Active Kansas Medical License.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Active DEA Required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, ATLS.
• Experience: Advanced GI Experience Preferred.
• Driver's License, Photo, Physical Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology coverage.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures.
• Manage inpatient consultations and follow-up care.
• Participate in shared weekday and weekend call.
• Document patient care in Epic.
