Global Medical Staffing seeks a gastroenterologist for inpatient GI coverage in New Mexico. Duties include daily rounds 8 am–5 pm with 24/7 on-call coverage and management of approximately 15 patients per shift, with 5–10 admissions per call period focusing on high-acuity GI cases.

ERCP and EUS proficiency are required for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within an inpatient GI service. This locums-to-perm role includes paid travel and housing, malpractice coverage, and licensing assistance.

Qualifications

• Inpatient gastroenterology experience required.
• ERCP proficiency required (diagnostic and therapeutic).
• Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) proficiency is required.

Responsabilités

• Rounding from 8 am to 5 pm with 24/7 on-call coverage.
• Manage 15 patients per shift; 5–10 admissions per call period, high-acuity GI cases.
• Perform ERCP and EUS as part of inpatient gastroenterology service.
