Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Louisiana. The role features no on‑call duties or floating and includes an IMLC pathway for expedited licensing.

Ideal candidates have EM, FM, or IM residency training, board certification, and active state licensure. You will perform moderate and deep sedation, collaborate with a skilled team, and help maintain high standards of patient care in a supportive ED setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification required for presentation (EM, FM, or IM).
• Completed residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
• Active state medical license and DEA registration with appropriate address.
• State controlled substance registration as required; ACLS/ATLS/PALS if not EM trained.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care and evaluation to patients in the ED.
• Perform moderate and deep sedation procedures as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality care.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with facility standards.
• Adhere to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulations.
• Participate in credentialing and ongoing medical education.
