Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage in Florida. Start ASAP with an hourly pay rate of $266.75–$288.75. The facility sees about 15,000 annual ED visits and requires day, night and weekend shifts with 24-hour physician coverage.

There is no APP coverage; onsite CT, X-ray, and Lab are available. The FSED is affiliated with Gulf Coast Hospital (8 miles away). Board certification or eligibility in EM, along with BLS and a DEA license, are required.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine or eligible.
• BLS certification required.
• DEA license or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ED coverage for days, nights and weekends with 24-hour physician presence.
• Manage ED operations for approximately 15,000 annual volume.
• Collaborate with onsite CT, X-ray and Lab; FSED affiliated with Gulf Coast Hospital.
• Maintain required certifications and credentialing, with AML focus on patient care.
