Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support in Florida. The role features 12-hour shifts with AM and PM coverage in a 10-bay ED, treating roughly 2.0–2.5 patients per hour and a low admission rate.

The ideal candidate holds ABEM or AOBEM certification, a Florida medical license, and active BLS/ACLS/PALS. Meditech is the EMR in use, with NP/PA triage support on select days.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Emergency Medicine required (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Florida medical license and active DEA license required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 12-hour EM physician shifts with AM and PM coverage.
• Single-provider coverage in high-volume ED.
• Utilize ED staff for triage and support as available.
