Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Electrophysiology physician in Canton, OH. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a start on 10-12-26 at a hospital setting, offering a daily pay of $3,200 to $3,500.

Responsibilities include diagnosing arrhythmias, performing EPS and ablations, device implantations, and managing patients with implanted devices. This role requires MD/DO credentials, EP fellowship, and Ohio licensure, with comprehensive benefits and travel support provided by Aya

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME/AOA internal medicine residency.
• Fellowship in cardiology with EP subspecialty.
• ABIM cardiovascular disease certification with EP subspecialty.
• Active and unrestricted Ohio medical license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat electrical abnormalities of the heart, such as arrhythmias and atrial fibrillation.
• Perform EPS, catheter ablations and device implantations like pacemakers and defibrillators.
• Manage patients with implantable cardiac devices, including routine follow-ups and troubleshooting device malfunctions.
• Work closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and other members of the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
• Provide emergency care for patients experiencing life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
