Job summary

Aya Locums is seeking a locum Electrophysiology physician in Springfield, Oregon. The assignment runs for 26 weeks with a start date of 01-01-27. Schedule is 4 eight-hour shifts from 07:00 to 15:00, with on-call requirements, at an outpatient clinic.

The physician will diagnose and treat cardiac electrical disorders, perform EPS, ablations and device implantations, and coordinate with cardiology teams. Oregon license required; prior EP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from accredited medical school.
• Residency in internal medicine (ACGME or AOA).
• Fellowship in cardiology with EP subspecialty.
• Board certification in cardiovascular disease with EP certification.
• Active and unrestricted Oregon medical license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat electrical disorders of the heart (arrhythmias, AF).
• Perform EPS, catheter ablations and device implantations (pacemakers/ICDs).
• Manage patients with implantable devices and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and surgeons to optimize care.
• Provide emergency care for life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
