Job description

GENERAL DENTIST

Location: Butler, PA

Dates Needed: Monday through Sunday throughout 2025

Pay: Daily rate based on experience. Paid as a 1099. Malpractice insurance covered at no cost. Weekly pay via direct deposit.

Skills:
  • Diagnose ailments and abnormalities of gums, teeth, and mouth; provide appropriate treatments and prescriptions.
  • Locate and repair cavities, prepare and fit dental crowns, and perform procedures for molding, capping, and recapping teeth.
  • Maintain dental histories and charts for patients.
  • Recommend corrections for complex treatments through counseling and referrals.
  • Guide and counsel patients on preventive dental care.
  • Provide comprehensive dental treatments, including urgent care, operative dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, prevention, and pediatrics.
  • Conduct examinations, diagnoses, and treatments as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of diagnoses, consent, and treatments.
  • Evaluate patients needing dental care and make appropriate recommendations.
  • May supervise staff in an office environment.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an ADA-accredited institution.
  • Active dental license as required by the State Board.
  • Additional licenses, certifications, and credentials as required.
