Job summary
AMN Healthcare is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for locum tenens coverage in Minnesota. The role includes day and weekend shifts with specific on-call periods and opportunities for ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and epidurals.
You will provide anesthesia for diverse services including general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, urology, and endoscopy, leveraging regional techniques and intrathecal procedures as needed. EPICCare documentation is required.
Qualifications
- CRNA certification and license in good standing.
- Experience providing anesthesia for general, OB/GYN, orthopedics, urology, and endoscopy cases.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients per case requirements.
- Evaluate patients pre- and post-anesthesia care.
- Perform regional anesthesia techniques and nerve blocks as appropriate.
- Document care in EMR (EPICCare) and coordinate with surgical teams.
- Respond to intraoperative and postoperative patient needs and emergencies.
