  2. Participate in on-call commitments and undertake emergency procedures.
  3. Collaborate with the General Manager and Clinical Director on the business plan for the oral and maxillofacial service.
  4. Be dually qualified with full GMC and GDC registration, a license to practice, and hold specialist listing in the GMC Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Register.
  5. Provide consultant-level oral and maxillofacial services on a 1 in 6 on-call basis.
  6. Perform independent elective and emergency surgeries, including day cases.
  7. Conduct specialty clinics, focusing on skeletal malocclusions, trauma, and secondary deformity management.
  8. Cover colleagues' annual leave and authorized absences.
  9. Take responsibility for any special interest areas.
  10. Supervise and manage junior medical staff, adhering to employment and HR policies.
  11. Contribute to teaching, examinations, accreditation, and medical education activities locally and nationally.
