Locum Tenens Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist – Inpatient | New Jersey

Location: Northern New Jersey (Greater NYC Metro Area)

Specialty: Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Duration: July 15, 2025 – December 2025

Setting: 100% Inpatient Psychiatry

About the Opportunity:

We’re seeking a Board-Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric care at a well-established behavioral health program in northern New Jersey. This is a weekday-only, no-call locum assignment treating youth ages 6 to 17 in a structured clinical setting with full interdisciplinary support.

You’ll lead patient care independently while working alongside a highly trained team of residents, nurses, and social workers who support your day-to-day clinical efforts. The facility uses EPIC as its electronic medical record system, ensuring a streamlined workflow.

Assignment Highlights:
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Start Date: July 15, 2025
  • End Date: December 2025
  • Patient Population: Ages 6–17 (inpatient)
  • Call Requirement: None
  • Procedures: None required
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Support Staff: Residents, Nursing, and Social Work
  • Solo attending role with full team support
