Job summary

You will participate in a 24-hour call schedule, 1:2 rotation, with a 20-minute response time, collaborating with a full team and documenting in Epic EMR. Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Licensed in MN or IMLC.
• ACLS and ATLS certifications required.
• Fellowship training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical coverage including open and endoscopic surgeries.
• Manage pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care for cardiothoracic patients.
• Perform on-call duties as part of a 1:2 call rotation with 20-minute response time.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, anesthesia, and support staff.
• Document patient encounters in Epic EMR and adhere to hospital protocols.
