Job summary

Hcepinc is seeking a Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 6-month contract assignment in Topeka, Kansas. This role involves clinic, OR, rounding, and call coverage.

The ideal candidate is board-certified or eligible with experience in adult cardiac surgery, including valve procedures and complex cardiovascular interventions, and will collaborate with dedicated support staff. Competitive hourly compensation is provided.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon required.
• Strong experience performing open cardiac and valve procedures required.
• Active DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform consultations, evaluations, surgical procedures, and postoperative management.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance.
