Palm Health Resources is hiring experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant or NP/RNFA in Baltimore, MD for a 3-6 month Locum Contract!

The Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner / RNFA will work in the Cardiovascular surgery department and must be proficient in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting using the Maquet Hemapro harvesting system. The position involves handling 6-8 cardiac surgery cases per day, utilizing the EPIC system.

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, with one weekly night on call & weekend call required (Fri night through Sunday) – in a rotational on-call schedule with current team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 5 years of vein harvesting/OR experience required – Hemopro vein harvesting system.
2. Can be PA or NP/RNFA (RN first assist certified).
3. Experience in first assist/second assist roles.
4. VAD/transplant/ECMO experience required.

Contract initially starts at 3 months, but after the first week, if the assignment goes well, there is potential to extend for a 6-month duration.
