Job summary

Palm Health Resources is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant for Northern Florida on an ongoing locums contract. The role spans OR, ICU and a touch of clinic, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours weekly, day shift, one weekend a month. On-call exposure is required one day during the week and one weekend monthly.

Daily patient volume is light, around two, and EMR is Ecw. We offer premium pay of $120-150/hour with 1.5x overtime over 40 hours, on-call premiums, and paid

Qualifications

• CT PA with OR/ICU experience.
• Proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting and critical care tasks.
• Comfort with on-call duties and frequent patient turnover.

Responsibilities

• Consults and discharges in the ICU/stepdown units.
• Rounds in ICU and stepdown units as part of daily care.
• On-call one day during the week and one weekend per month.

This is a full continuum of care cardiothoracic physician assistant position with OR, ICU and a little bit of clinic.

Coverage: Full Time minimum of 40 hours per week, Day shift Monday - Friday with one weekend a month

On call required one day during the week and one weekend a month

Candidate must be proficient in the following

Endoscopic Vein Harvesting

Pulling Chest tubes / placing wires and IABP

Other duties: consults, discharges, rounds in ICU, stepdown units

Daily Patient Volume: 2
