Hot Locum Contract! We are hiring an experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner in beautiful Orange County, CA!

6-month contract, with the option to extend! Starting in July and continuing through the end of 2025. Candidates must be proficient in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting. Palm Health Resources covers malpractice insurance, travel, lodging, rental car and/or mileage, and much more!

The Cardiothoracic Advanced Practice Provider will work across the full spectrum of cardiothoracic care, primarily focusing on Operating Room duties and assisting a top surgeon. Responsibilities include all aspects of perioperative care, such as taking patient histories, conducting daily rounds, performing invasive surgical procedures, and retrieving vascular tissue in coronary bypass surgeries. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of artificial cardiac devices, ventilators, and the pharmacologic effects of vasoactive and cardiotonic drugs. The PA also provides patient care in postoperative acute care units, step-down units, and regular floors.
