Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks a board-certified cardiologist for locum tenens in Walla Walla, WA. The assignment includes outpatient and inpatient coverage with a Mon–Fri, 7a–5p schedule and on-call weeknights and weekends; malpractice insurance is provided by the vendor.

Clinical duties include a broad cardiology scope in a mixed setting. The role requires proficiency in echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and related non-invasive testing, plus the ability to participate in a 2:4 call

Qualifications

• Board certified in cardiology.
• Licensed in WA; WA license required; International Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility.
• DEA license required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Epic EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up care.
• Manage inpatient cardiology patients including ICU.
• Perform and interpret echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and other non-invasive tests.
• Participate in a 2-week per month call schedule covering weeknights and weekends.
• Optionally perform invasive diagnostic procedures such as diagnostic cardiac catheterization.
