Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexibility to total 40 hours per week; extension possible.

The role involves anesthesia services in a hospital setting across 4 ORs, L&D and Cath Lab, with regional blocks for orthopedic cases and Epic EMR documentation. Board certification or eligibility and PA license are required.

Qualifications

• Active PA state medical license in Pennsylvania.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology.
• Minimum 1 year of anesthesiology experience.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Proficiency with regional blocks for orthopedic cases.
• Experience using Epic EMR for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesiology services in a hospital with 4 ORs, L&D and Cath Lab.
• Work a schedule of 5x8-hour shifts or 2x8-hour shifts plus a 24-hour shift totaling 40 hours per week; schedule varies.
• Participate in call coverage rotation.
• Collaborate with CRNAs and Anesthesia Techs.
