Job summary

Odyssey Locums in Texas seeks a locum Anesthesiologist to cover General OR and Cardiovascular shifts. Sporadic weeks for holiday coverage; CV preferred with the ability to handle Cardiovascular, Thoracic, TEEs, and Structural Hearts. On-site with 3 physicians daily (1 CV, 2 general). The role includes supervision with dedicated CV CRNAs and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed anesthesiologist with valid medical license to practice in Texas.
• Experience in OR anesthesia and cardiovascular cases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for General OR and Cardiovascular procedures.
• Perform Cardiovascular, Thoracic, TEEs, and Structural Heart cases as needed.
• Coordinate with CRNAs for CV cases and supervise general cases.
• On-call coverage with CRNA support for CV and general shifts.

• For CV, doing Cardiovascular, Thoracic, TEEs, Structural Hearts
• If on call for CV, it is CV call only
• For CV, it is some supervision with dedicated CV CRNAs
• For general docs, it is a supervision model
• Case types include general, neuro, ent, urology, orthopedics
• 3 physicians on site daily - 1 cv, 2 general
• Rotating out schedule
• For general call, will always have a CRNA on call with them
• Temps available
