Odyssey Locums seeks locum anesthesia physicians to start ASAP for a six-month assignment near Plano, TX, with potential extension. Must hold a Texas license and meet ACLS, BLS, and DEA certification requirements. Credentialing is projected at 90 days, with Epic EMR in use.

Coverage includes two night physicians 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (rotating), two day physicians on 10- or 12-hour shifts up to 40 hours/week, or a day physician with night call (post-call days off). Medical direction duties may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum anesthesia coverage for night and day shifts as specified (7:00 PM–7:00 AM at night; 10- or 12-hour day shifts up to 40 hours/week).
• Possibly take daytime shift with night call, with post-call days off; participate in medical direction as needed.

Locum Anesthesiologists needed to start ASAP and work a 6 months with a possibility of extension at a facility near Plano, TX. Must have TX license.

The facility's updated preference is as follows:

• Two nighttime physicians working 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, approximately 3 shifts per week (the two docs will rotate with each other so there are no overlapping days)
• Two daytime physicians working either 10- or 12-hour shifts up to 40 hours per week
• Alternatively, a daytime physician working 10- or 12-hour shifts who is also willing to take night call (with post-call days off)
• Medical Direction.
• Types of cases: General, Ortho, Neuro, OBGYN, Urology, Vascular, Podiatry, GI. No Peds.
• EMR: Epic.
• Certification Requirements: ACLS, BLS, DEA.
• Must have TX license.
• T&E: Considered based on need.
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days.
• $2,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours.
